According to the FSA, Tesco has initiated the recall process and has provided recall notices to its customers.
These notices inform customers about the reason for the recall and provide guidance on what actions to take if they have purchased the affected product.
Tesco told affected shoppers: « We have been made aware that a specific date/batch code of Tesco Sandwich Pickle 295g jar may contain small pieces of glass. Therefore, this product could pose a safety risk if consumed.
« Please do not consume this product and instead return any affected products to store where a full refund will be given. No receipt is required. »
