Prince William reveals exact date new ITV series will debut later this month | Royal | News

Prince William has revealed the exact date his new ITV documentary is set to launch.

The documentary, Prince William: We Can End Homelessness, will be available to watch on ITV and ITVX at 9pm on October 30 and 31.

The two-part series will look at Prince William’s Homewards initiative in more detail as the prince, 42, takes steps to try and end homelessness across the UK.

The project, which was launched last year by the future King, has already focused on six key locations where the prince is hoping to make a “real change”.

This includes Aberdeen, Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole, Lambeth in London, Newport, Northern Irelands and Sheffield.

In a new clip posted on the official Prince and Princess of Wales’ Instagram account, Prince William is asked why he wants to try and end homelessness.

The first-in-line to the throne responds: “I think everyone having a right to a safe and stable home benefits us all.

« I come with no other agenda than desperately trying to help people who are in need and I see that as part of my role is that why else would I be here if I’m not using this role properly to influence and help people where I can.

“I like a big challenge. I do like that, but I can’t do it on my own.”

Since posting the clip, royal fans have flocked to praise the prince for the work he is doing to help people in need, with many saying he resembles his mother Princess Diana.

One fan wrote: “Our Prince of Wales is using his huge platform to help other people in any way that he can and everyone should applaud him for this! He truly cares about others.

“I’m excited to watch this documentary.”

Another said: “LOVE him! He looks just like his mother and he carries out her charitable works. He keeps her legacy alive!”
