Prince Harry ‘taking the lead’ as Meghan ‘no longer wearing trousers’ in relationship | Royal | News

Prince Harry is beginning to take the lead in his relationship as he becomes the “more dominant and powerful” one, a body expert has revealed.

Body language expert Darren Stanton sat down to watch Harry and his wife Meghan Markle’s new Netflix series, which led to interesting observations.

Although the royal couple are executive producers of the new series Polo, which was released on Netflix on December 10, they only feature in the fifth and final episode of the documentary, which aims to give fans a behind-the-scenes look into the elitist world of the sport.

However, in the brief scenes they did appear in at a charity Polo match, Mr Stanton said it appeared as though the prince, 40, was now taking charge rather than his wife.

He told The Royal Observer: “It’s important for Harry to be seen as the one who is more dominant and powerful. Meghan has previously been seen to wear the trousers in their relationship, which has affected his reputation. If we take a closer look at some of the posture and actions we see, Harry is taking the lead. »

The observation by Mr Stanton comes after body language Judi James told Express.co.uk that both Harry and Meghan, who quit life as senior royals in 2020 to move overseas to America, act very differently to one another in the episode.

Judi told Express.co.uk: « This documentary looks like an Eton Mess mash-up of Jilly Cooper and TOWIE.

“Harry’s love of the peacocking, macho world of Polo comes across clearly but when he and Meghan do appear in brief moments she is very emphatically not depicted as any Pimms-swigging, divot-trampling WAG.

“Meghan’s presence provides the royal effect as she steps in to be introduced to a player and Harry steps back to chuckle at the sight of the player bending his head and offering a handshake and a giggle.

“Meghan is seen chatting as though on a royal visit and it’s Meghan extending a hand to touch her husband to invite him into the conversation.”

In the series, the couple remained tight-lipped on the Royal Family which they left four years ago.

It is believed the couple, who live in Montecito, are now focusing on their individual work, with Harry investing time into charitable organisations and Meghan attending a series of red carpet events.

The duchess is also reportedly focusing on the launch of her new lifestyle brand American Riviera Orchard, which she first announced in March this year.

It has been reported that she recently appointed herself as the CEO of the brand after struggling to recruit the right candidate. The official launch date has not yet been confirmed but is expected to be next year.
