It’s a situation many of us find ourselves in, there’s just two weeks to go until Christmas and you still have no idea what to buy for a loved one. But while Black Friday has been and gone, there are still some great discounts out there – if you know where to look.
We often spend a lot of time and effort trying to come up with imaginative gifts, though sometimes you can’t go wrong with something stylish and useful, like a wallet, a watch, or a bottle of whisky. And one impressive deal that’s worth a look at the minute comes from Debenhams, where Lakeland’s Stitch Leather Bi-Fold Wallet can be picked up for £34.99, down from £49.99.
The neat wallet comes in two colours, brown or black, and is “crafted from the finest smooth leather”. Features include a selection of storage areas including a coin pocket with press stud fastening, as well an array of card slots and an ID window.
Perhaps most handy of all for Christmas, it comes in a Lakeland Leather presentation box for easy gifting. There haven’t been any reviews of the product left to date, though it is worth noting that there are cheaper options out there worth considering too.
One such product is sold on Amazon, the deLausier La Première handmade leather wallet, scanning at £21.99. Reviewers who’ve purchased that have been broadly very pleased, with one writing: “Just what I needed. Good quality, looks good and enough space for all my needs.”
Another continued: “Very smart got it for a birthday gift for my mate and he was very pleased with it.”
But one of the few buyers who wasn’t thrilled added: “The pockets for the cards are so tight that you’re having to fight to remove them. Hopefully they will loosen up with use.” M&S also offers a touch of luxury at an affordable price, with its Leather Cardsafe Wallet priced at £25.
It includes RFID Cardsafe protection that prevents your contactless card from being read while in your wallet.
