A horror multi-vehicle crash involving a lorry on the UK’s busiest motorway has brought traffic to a standstill this afternoon.
Police and ambulance crews have raced to the scene on the M25 in Essex between junctions 25 and 27 to deal with the incident.
A post on the National Highways reads: « The M25 in Essex is closed anti-clockwise between J27 (for the M11) and J25 (Waltham Cross) due to a multi-vehicle collision involving a lorry.
« All emergency services are on scene. National Highways Traffic Officers are on scene providing assistance with traffic management. »
It is not yet known whether there have been any serious injuries as a result of the crash.
