Thousands of users across the globe are reporting issues with Instagram and Facebook.
According to website DownDetector, around 1,400 people reported issues with Instagram at around 2.30am BST on Wednesday.
Meanwhile a further 100 people said there was an issue with the Facebook app itself.
Instagram users report being met with a page saying: « Something went wrong.
« There’s an issue and the page could not be loaded. »
Internet observers NetBlocks reports: « Note: Meta platforms including Instagram and Facebook are currently experiencing international outages; incident not related to country-level internet disruptions or filtering. »
Users on X have also reported issues with the apps.
One said: « Anybody Else Instagram Down ? Mine isn’t working at all. »
Another added: « Is Instagram down or do I just go on it too much? »
