Duchess Sophie, the Duchess of Edinburgh, is known for her chic and sophisticated style – with many Royal fans eager to try and re-create some of her looks. Back in September, Sophie was photographed styling a pair of wide-leg leather trousers with a form-flattering blazer. And with autumn upon us, it seems her stylish leather trousers are a trend that is here to stay throughout the winter months.
Fashion brand Roman is currently selling a very similar pair of leather trousers which have been dubbed by fashion fans as the “trousers of the season”. The wide-leg trousers are so popular they have received a 4.9-star rating from shoppers, with many applauding the comfort, style and fit.
The Black Faux Leather Trousers differ from Sophie’s only in that they are cropped, though maintain the fitted waist and baggier leg style. Whether you want to wear them throughout the day or pair them with some sleek heels in the evening, this is a trend piece that can take you from day to night with ease.

Though size 8 has sold out at the time of writing, Roman offers a size range of 10 through to size 20.
One shopper left a review of the trousers, hailing them as “the trousers of the season”. They added: « Excellent fit, great quality and extremely comfortable. Will be a staple of my winter wardrobe.” [SIC]
