With the Christmas celebrations behind us, many are already planning their 2025 getaways to beat the January blues.
In a timely move, Eurostar launched a flash sale on Friday 3rd, offering discounted fares to Paris, Brussels, Amsterdam and beyond.
Travellers can snag one-way tickets for as low as £35, with no promotional code required. The deal applies to journeys between London and Paris, Lille or Brussels from 14 January to 3 April 2025, and from London to Amsterdam or Rotterdam from 14 January to 28 March 2025.
However, those eyeing a European city break should act fast, as the sale concludes at 10.59pm on 9 January.
This follows a similar sale by Eurostar in September. TikTok influencer Chelsea, known as @cheapholidayexpert, shared details of the sale at the time with her 160,400 followers. The travel expert also revealed tips on securing cheap Eurostar tickets throughout the year, even outside of sales.
To grab these bargain fares, Chelsea advised fans to visit the Eurostar website, locate the flash sale graphic and click ‘Book now’. Even without an ongoing sale, she suggested using the ‘Find lowest fares’ feature on the site to secure the best deals.
Chelsea also shared a useful tip for saving an extra 10% on Eurostar tickets by booking through the Uber app, which offers 10% back in Uber credits. Additionally, customers can earn 1 Avios credit for every £1 spent.
She advised: « So what I would do, I would use the Eurostar website to find out when the cheap prices are, what day you wanna go, what time, then come back onto Uber and you’ll get 10% back as Uber credits, which you can spend on other trains, on taxis and also on Uber Eats. »
Her tips were met with enthusiasm, as the video gathered hundreds of likes. However, one viewer complained: « 35 pound should be normal price or the masses will keep flying. »
