Carole Middleton Christmas treat loved by George, Charlotte and Louis | Royal | News

Grandmothers often have a knack for making a Christmas even more special, with Carole Middleton being no exception.

Being a gran to some of the most famous children in the world certainly has its pressures but one of Carole’s sweet festive traditions on Christmas Eve has always proved a hit with Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.

The Princess of Wales’s mother previously shared the touching way she ensures Christmas Eve is always a hit among the family.

Carole is also grandmother to her daughter Pippa’s children, Arthur, Grace and Rose, and her son James’s young one, Inigo.

Carole often spends the days around Christmas with her daughter, Princess Kate, and Prince William and their three children.

The former Party Pieces owner has spoken about one adorable Christmas Eve tradition in one of the business’s previous newsletters. She explained how her grandchildren all receive a box from her that’s kitted out with little gifts inside.

Carole admitted this has become a tradition over the years the day before Christmas.

« As well as leaving something out for Santa, a Christmas Eve Box is a lovely tradition to introduce to your family and will become a beloved part of your Christmas for years to come, » she wrote.

These Christmas Eve boxes seem to have become a treasured tradition for the Wales family over the years.

It’s perhaps no surprise Christmas Eve is a big day in the Middleton family, as Kate, William and the kids will now be expected to spend Chrismas Day at Sandringham with King Charles and the Royal Family.

It’s been said Carole is a big fan of Christmas, particularly when it comes to all the decorations involved.

Carole previously admitted that even when the decorations are all completed, she likes to make sure there is always still room for some cheeky additions, for the sake of her grandkids.

In a post shared on the Party Pieces account, Carole said: « As much as I love immaculate decorations, we can’t be too serious at Christmas! »

And as for how the doting grandmother will spend this special time with her grandkids, Carole admitted how she is very much a hands on grandparent.

Carole previously admitted to Good Housekeeping how involved she gets with her grandchildren, saying: « I want to run down the hills, climb the trees and go through the tunnel at the playground.

« As long as I am able to, that’s what I’ll be doing. I cook with them, I muck around dancing, we go on bike rides. »
