A spokesman for West Midlands Police said: “We were called after a teenager was found collapsed off Austin Drive, Coventry, just before 3am today (April 23).
“A 14-year-old boy was taken to hospital where he was sadly pronounced dead. »
Police added that a post-mortem is set to take place.
The spokesperson continued: “At this stage, the death is being treated as unexplained and a post-mortem will take place in due course.”
