Best. DLC. Ever. The Office joins Funko Fusion, but it’s bad news for Nintendo Switch fans | Gaming | Entertainment

While I’ll always prefer the original, the US version of The Office is one of the most popular TV shows in history, running for nine seasons and making Steve Carell a household name.

If you love Michael, Dwight, Pam, Jim and the gang, then the latest Funko Fusion add-on could be the best piece of downloadable content to release this year.

Available for PlayStation, Xbox and PC, the new Office DLC costs £7.99.

Unfortunately, however, it’s not all good news, because the Funko Fusion expansion is delayed until early 2025 on Nintendo Switch.

In terms of content, the cameo level adds Michael Scott, Pam, Jim and Dwight as playable characters.

The stage itself is loosely based on the fire drill from the Stress Relief episode in Season 5.

Instead of a fire drill, however, players will need to rescue Pam from a hostage situation set up by Dwight.

According to developer 10:10 Games, each character has their own unique set of skills, weapons and abilities.

Michael Scott has an ice hockey stick, for example, while Dwight is seen dressed as an elf (fingers crossed Belsnickel makes an appearance).

You can check out the gameplay trailer below for a look at the characters. How many Easter eggs can you spot?

Funko Fusion launched to mixed reviews back in September, with a Switch version following earlier this month.

While most people enjoyed the pop culture crossovers, the game was criticised for repetitive mission structure and grinding to unlock all levels.

Fortunately, developer 10:10 Games has released various updates since launch, primarily focusing on making the experience a tad more streamlined.

The game has also benefitted from numerous post-release DLC drops, including Bob Ross, Back to the Future and more.
