Darts sensation Luke Littler appeared to accidentally reveal his ‘new girlfriend’ on a video game live stream.
The 17-year-old has made his love for gaming no secret since bursting onto the sporting scene by reaching the PDC World Championship final, with some ex-professionals even claiming that his hobby is distracting him from his talent.
Nevertheless, Littler has continued to play and was recently caught up in a microphone gaffe which may have uncovered that he has a new blossoming relationship.
Whilst playing a boxing game with popular streamer Angryginge13, called Morgan Burtwistle, a female’s voice could be heard talking to Littler in what instantly fuelled speculation about the Nuke having a new girlfriend.
An unidentified voice could be heard saying: “I’m gonna try and get some sleep because I’m so tired.” AngryGinge wasted no time in probing Littler – who plays for his viral EA FC 24 Pro Clubs team ‘Girth N Turf’ – on who was talking to him.
“Who the f*** is that? Who’s that Luke? Who’s that Luke? He’s had a rotter there! Luke’s had a rotter,” Burtwistle laughed, whilst other streamers in the party chuckled at the expense of Littler.
The darts ace tellingly responded: “F***’s sake,” after recognising that the jibes were showing no signs of slowing. AngryGinge joked: “Let her get to bed, Luke, come on.”
Littler then recognised that viewers were also able to hear the female’s voice, and he took his gaffe in good spirits by laughing: “Your chat is going mad, F*** off. If someone has screen recorded that, it’s in the papers in the morning. Yep, well played. Why’s the volume all the way up, you f***ing idiot?”
Littler took his microphone mix-up in his stride and played along with the jokes about a new lover, having split from his ex-girlfriend Eloise Milburn three months ago. The pair had begun dating weeks before the teen broke into the public eye before splitting after 10 months.
Since the breakup, Littler has moved his family out of their two-bed semi-detached home in Warrington and moved them to a luxury home. The Mirror reports that he now resides in a ‘flashy five-bedroom’ pad, signing a year’s lease on the £6,000-a-month property. The house reportedly boasts a large pool, expansive garden and six bathrooms.
