President Donald Trump is set to hold a high-stakes phone call with Russian President Vladimir Putin to speak about plans for a ceasefire in Ukraine. The White House is talking one-on-one with Russia about Ukrainian territory and assets, and while Putin says he supports the idea of a ceasefire, his conditions have also included guarantees Ukraine will disarm and not join an alliance. The NBC’s Keir Simmons reports for TODAY.
