Trent Alexander-Arnold has reportedly split with his model girlfriend, Estelle Behnke, having spent the last 18 months together. The former Liverpool defender, who now plays for Real Madrid, got together in 2024. Estelle, a British lifestyle influencer, was by his side when he moved to the Bernabeu last summer and helped him to settle in.
They were also previously spotted on holiday in Venice, but their relationship appears to have run its course. According to The Sun, they have broken up amicably and are believed to remain friends. Their busy schedules were cited as the main reason for the split, leading to a mutual realisation that things could not continue.
A source was quoted as saying: « The break-up was tough but both Trent and Estelle knew it was for the best. They shared some special times.
« But they go their separate ways full of love and thanks for their experiences together. They are both busy people and came to the sad realisation that the relationship just wouldn’t last long term. »
Estelle, who has over 178,000 followers on Instagram, was often spotted cheering on Alexander-Arnold during matches. She attended his glittering welcome ceremony at the Bernabeu last summer, hosted by Real Madrid president Florentino Perez.
Despite reports claiming the split was amicable, Estelle has unfollowed Alexander-Arnold on the popular image-sharing social media platform.
They reportedly met just a month after Alexander-Arnold parted ways with Iris Law, the daughter of Jude Law and Sadie Frost.
They became acquainted with one another while filming an advert for Guess Jeans. Alexander-Arnold then started interacting with Estelle’s jet-setting posts on social media, leading to rumours they were dating or in a relationship.
The former lovers were previously spotted on a trip to Soho Farmhouse in the Cotswolds, which is said to cost up to £6,000 a night. and dining at upmarket restaurant Cibo in Cheshire.
Alexander-Arnold played for Real Madrid as they defeated Manchester City in the Champions League earlier this week.
Speaking afterwards, he said: « This is the most important stage of the season. Big matches are coming one after another and each one feels like a final.
« The expectation at Real Madrid is to go all the way in the Champions League and win. It’s built into the very core of the club. We thrive on these expectations and it helps us bring out our best qualities. »
