Despite being winter, you could still be enjoying holiday vibes with this indoor waterpark that feels like abroad. UK families have been going crazy for the theme park.
The aqua park known for its daredevil water slides opened a new £250,000 immersive play village last year and has now invested even more in further developments.
What makes it the complete holiday vibe is that the park keeps its temperature at a minimum of 31C – even all through the winter.
Dubbed the ‘UK’s No.1 tropical indoor aqua park,’ it’s located in Stoke-on-Trent, in the heart of the Midlands. It’s open all year round and has over 30 different rides and attractions, including Thunderbolt, the UK’s first trap door drop waterslide.
For the summer, there’s also the outdoor pool for those looking to enjoy some sunshine – but during the winter you can enjoy all the indoor features.
It doesn’t stop there, the Waterworld Leisure Resort is also home to Adventure Mini Golf with two 18-hole and tiki-themed mini golf courses.
Rides include a mix of adrenaline, thrill and family rides such as Thunderbolt, Cyclone, Stormachaser and Nucleus. If you’re looking to chill, there are also opportuities to relax.
The rapids are perfect for catching up with your friends as you get pushed along the water, past the shipwreck and into the unknown.
If that’s not enough, kids can also enjoy the mini village which consists of immersive and unique role play.
