Expressing their love for Meghan, who claims that she has cried « too many tears to count », another fan wrote: « Awww, this is too cute! Love dogs (much, much more than cats) and I feel for anyone mourning their furry friend. »
A fourth fan also commented: « Princess Lilibet’s voice is so beautiful singing with mom. I only wish I could see her face. She has ginger hair color as her dad and long hair as mom. »
In her dedicated post, Meghan shared how Guy had been by her side through major milestones in her life – including her career as an actress on Suits, her engagement and marriage to Prince Harry and becoming a mother to Archie and Lilibet.
Meghan wrote: « In 2015, I adopted a beagle from a dog rescue in Canada. He had been at a kill shelter in Kentucky and given a few days to live. I swooped him up….and fell in love. They referred to him as « the little guy » because he was so small and frail, so I named him « Guy ». And he was the best guy any girl could have asked for. »
She went on to share, « If you followed me on Instagram back in the day, you saw a lot of him – and on The Tig too.
« He was with me at Suits, when I got engaged, (and then married), when I became a mom….he was with me for everything: the quiet, the chaos, the calm, the comfort. »
