Royal Family LIVE: Meghan Markle breaks silence over couple’s work after ‘separation’ | Royal | News

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have conducted a series of solo engagements in recent months as they focus on personal initiatives. Meghan finally spoke out after attending a project supported by the couple’s charity, Archewell Foundation.

Focusing on building communities and togetherness, Meghan hosted a dinner ahead of the upcoming winter holidays for the Southern California Welcome Project, which aims to support programmes for women resettled in the United States from Afghanistan.

Meghan has now released a statement on her website following the event: « This initiative, led by the partner organisation Mina’s List, has spent the past year building community through storytelling and creating a safe space for women who have resettled in the US from Afghanistan. The evening included a shared meal that encouraged open conversation centred on gratitude and resilience. The Duchess expressed her deep appreciation to the attendees for sharing their personal stories and cultural experiences, underscoring her excitement for future gatherings that continue to strengthen these connections.

« The dinner was hosted at Our Place, founded by Shiza Shahid, where the participants were gifted with new cookware for the upcoming holiday season. The Archewell Foundation remains committed to uplifting women and fostering community through shared experiences, reinforcing the importance of unity and support during challenging times. »

Although Prince Harry was not present at the dinner supported by Archewell Charity, he has recently been promoting the Winter Invictus Games 2025 in Canada, which will be held in Vancouver and Whistler next February 8-16.

Despite the royal pair focusing on individual timetables to work on initiatives close to their heart, the two will rejoin forces as they are both expected to host the Invictus Games in Canada.
