Sony has announced the next batch of games coming to PlayStation Plus Extra in February, and things are shaping up nicely.

The February 2026 line-up is headlined by the superb superhero game Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, which joins the service on February 17.

Unfortunately, however, it’s not all good news, because multiple games are leaving PlayStation Plus Extra on the same date.

So consider this your final warning to play the games leaving PS Plus Extra in February 2026.

Perhaps understandably, one game leaving PS Plus Extra in February is WWE 2K5.

Developer 2K Sports is about to release a new entry in the annual wrestling series, which means there’s no room for last year’s game on PS Plus Extra.

Another big game leaving PS Plus Extra on February 17 is Cult of the Lamb, which has an 82% score on Metacritic.

The game sees players attempt to build a loyal cult after being saved by a mysterious stranger.

Sony explains more: « Cult of the Lamb casts players in the role of a possessed lamb saved from annihilation by an ominous stranger and must repay their debt by building a loyal following in his name.

« Start your own cult in a land of false prophets, venturing out into diverse and mysterious regions to build a loyal community of woodland worshippers and spread your Word to become the one true cult. »

Other games leaving PS Plus Extra in February include Carto, the excellent Rez Infinite, SaGa Frontier Remastered, Super Neptunia and The Ascent.

It’s a strong selection of games, featuring multiple titles that are well worth checking out while you still have time. Indeed, if you’re nearing the end of an epic like SaGa Frontier Remastered, then make sure you hurry before it’s too late.

On the plus side, Sony will replace the titles with some excellent games, including Marvel’s Spider-Man 2.

In addition to Spider-Man 2, the PS Plus Extra line-up also includes Test Drive Unlimited Solar Crown, as well as emotionally-charged action adventure game Neva.

Season: A Letter to the Future is well worth checking out if you haven’t already, alongside Monster Hunter Stories and its sequel.

Venba is an interesting cooking adventure game, Echoes of the End: Enhanced Edition is a surprisingly decent action game.

Finally, launching in the middle of the Six Nations is Rugby 25, which is a sport that doesn’t get enough love when it comes to video games.
