Thanks to February being such a short month, the PS Plus Essentials for March will be revealed earlier than expected.
The March 2025 free PS4 and PS5 games will be officially unveiled by Sony at 4.30pm GMT UK time on the afternoon of February 26. The PlayStation Plus games will be available to download and install less than a week later.
Fans will be hoping for a better line-up than February, which was headlined by Payday 3.
With no leaks to speak of and the big reveal just a few days away, fans have been attempting to predict the line-up for March 2025.
Judging by the monthly predictions thread on Reddit, PS Plus subscribers are confident the line-up will be better than February.
Games with multiple picks include a selection of EA published releases like EA UFC 5, EA Sports FC 25 and F1 24.
All of the aforementioned games feel like solid picks, so we wouldn’t be surprised to see at least one of them make an appearance.
Another game that seems to be getting a lot of traction is Bethesda/Microsoft-published rhythm action game Hi-Fi Rush.
Cyberpunk adventure game Stray also gets a mention, alongside Wo Long Fallen Dynasty. Fallen Dynasty is leaving Xbox Game Pass in February, so a PS Plus release seems like a certainty.
Another game that keeps popping up is Hogwarts Legacy. Despite selling a bucketload of copies, the Harry Potter spinoff is starting to see big discounts, which makes a PS Plus appearance increasingly likely.
Assassin’s Creed Mirage is another popular pick, although it may be too close to the launch of Assassin’s Creed Shadows.
Elsewhere, fans are picking the likes of Robocop Rogue City, LEGO Bricktales, Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden, Hades, Atomic Heart, The Pathless, Psychonauts 2, Call of Duty Vanguard, Resident Evil Village, Tinykin, Harold Halibut, Indika, Pacific Drive and Chicory.
Guardians of the Galaxy, Terminator Salvation, Far Cry 6, Twelve Minutes, NBA 2K25, Mortal Kombat 1, Sonic Frontiers, Firewatch, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, Lords of the Fallen, Need for Speed Unbound and South Park Snow Day.
There are even a few picks for first-party games, such as The Last of Us Part 2, Marvel’s Spider-Man and Gran Turismo 7.
Some of the more unlikely picks include Star Wars Outlaws, Dragon Age Veilguard, Lies of P, Street Fighter 6, Final Fantasy 16, Elden Ring and Kingdom Come Deliverance.
As a reminder, the next games will be available from the morning of March 4. In the meantime, subscribers can redeem Payday 3, High on Life and Pac-Man World: Re-Pac.
