PlayStation Plus monthly free games for March will be announced soon (Image: SONY)
PlayStation Plus subscribers face an extra long wait until the next batch of PS5 games are announced by Sony.
The PS Plus Essentials are released on the first Tuesday of every month. Unfortunately, however, because of the way the dates fall, the PS Plus line-up won’t be revealed until April 1.
The games will be available the following week, specifically on the morning of April 7, which is the first Tuesday of the month.

On the plus side, the delayed PS Plus release means you have more time to grab the current batch of games, which are headlined by PGA Tour 2K25.
The golfing sim features a host of real-world courses and authentic golfers like Tiger Woods.

In addition to PGA Tour 2K25, subscribers can pick up action-adventure game Monster Hunter Rise, as well as Slime Rancher 2.
Sony has recently been offering bonus games as part of the PS Plus line-up, and March was no different.
As an added bonus for March, fans can also pick up massively-multiplayer online game Elder Scrolls Online Gold Road Collection.
