Prisoner beheaded and disembowelled in infamous jail after inmates learn of his crime | World | News

An inmate was decapitated and disembowelled in a South American prison after fellow prisoners discovered his alleged brutal crime. In a gruesome turn of events, an inmate at Pinheiros Provisional Detention Centre II – a prison in São Paulo, Brazil – was not only beheaded but also had his internal organs and ears removed.

Washington Ramos Brito, 32, who was arrested on 25 February, was murdered just three days later by suspected members of a prison gang known as Bonde do Cerol Fininho in a crime believed to have involved a razor blade. Alleged murderers Rodrigo Galvão dos Santos, also known as Rota, 42, and José Wellington Matos Vitória, 25, are thought to be members due to the method used to kill Washington, according to Metrópoles. In a surprising twist, reports suggest that Washington’s fate in prison was directly linked to his alleged crime, being arrested for the suspected murder of his mother in Jardim das Palmas.

Under questioning, the two suspects confessed to the crime, explaining that neither of their own mothers was alive, and they had, according to the outlet, « revolted » against Washington’s alleged matricide.

Taken to the 91st Police District (Ceagesp), Rota and Wellington gave statements, maintained their confession, and underwent a physical assessment; they have since been returned to prison.

Details surrounding the mother’s death revealed that Angelina Maria Ramos, 58, was found by another son, her body showing signs of strangulation and scratches on her neck.

In his statement to the military police, the son who discovered the body explained that he had returned from work to find his mother deceased in her bedroom, claiming that his brother was the last person in the house.

According to Universo Online, Washington confessed to the murder, telling police that he carried out the crime after Angelina had slapped him in the face and called him a « bum ».

Initially taken to the city’s Homicide and Personal Protection Department (DHPP), Washington subsequently ended up in the Pinheiros II Detention Centre, where he was beheaded.

A rival faction of the Primeiro Comando da Capital (PCC), Bonde do Cerol Fininho was reportedly established by a former PCC member named Lúcifer, real name Marcos Paulo da Silva, 48.

Said to be suffering from psychosis and serving a staggering 217 years in prison, Lúcifer is reported to have broken away from the original faction and claims to have killed approximately 50 rivals inside.

In further details, it also emerged that the group’s « signature » execution method involves beheading and the removal of what was described as the individual’s « viscera ».

Although he’s now detained in Penitentiary I of Presidente Venceslau, Lúcifer was reportedly held previously in the Tupi Paulista unit, where Rota was also imprisoned.
