Prince Harry ‘lacks US friendships’ amid claim that he holds ‘regrets’ | Royal | News

Prince Harry reportedly « lacks friendships » in America amid a major claim that he holds « regrets » over some past friendships in the UK.

Previously speaking in his six-part Netflix documentary in 2022, the 40-year-old admitted that he had « lost a few friends » after moving to the US.

Harry now resides in California with Meghan Markle and their two children, Archie, five, and Lilibet, three.

As reported by GB News, a close friend of Prince Harry previously told Radar Online: « [Prince] Harry regrets closing the door on this mates. He misses the boozing, the skiing, and attending rugby matches with the lads.

« He simply doesn’t have that kind of friendship group in the United States and that’s a shame. »

During his days as working royal, Harry was known for his lively nights out and is said to have had a close group of friends in the UK.

Former friends of Harry have previously claimed that they had distanced themselves from him after he began dating Meghan.

Comedian Jack Whitehall recently said: « I was quite good friends with Prince Harry back in the day, pre-Meghan when he was a tearaway. »

When asked if he was « dropped » after Harry’s marriage, Whitehall admitted: « Yeah I mean I wasn’t part of his inner circle but I had a few nights out with him when he was quite fun. »

Despite these claims, Harry previously shared last year that he « enjoys » living in America and plans to reside there permanently.

Speaking of Archie and Lilibet, Harry also shared that he enjoyed the fact that his children are growing up in California.

Meghan is reportedly joining Harry for the start of the 2025 Invictus Games this weekend.

Archie and Lilibet are not expected to be joining their parents in Canada. They will likely remain in California.
