Poole: Cops issue CCTV of man as girl ‘sexually assaulted’ | UK | News

A girl was reportedly sexually assaulted on a bus in a British seaside town in late January, an incident which has prompted police to issue a CCTV appeal. Dorset Police officers are investigating the alleged incident, which is reported to have happened on a bus in Poole.

A teenage girl was travelling on the number 8 More Bus in the Hamworthy area at around 7.50pm on Sunday, January 25, when a man reportedly approached her and kissed her on the cheek without her consent, police said in their appeal released on March 9. The man then reportedly returned to his seat, the force added.

Police have now released CCTV images of a man they would like to identify in relation to their enquiries.

The force is appealing for witnesses and has urged people with information to get in touch with officers.

Police Constable Alice Beavon, of Poole police, said: “This was an upsetting incident for the young victim and we have been carrying out a thorough investigation into what happened. »
