One of those engagements is a £1,440-per-person, women-only event in Sydney, where Meghan will be interviewed on stage. VIP tickets for the event from April 17 to 19 cost 3,199 Australian dollars (£1,700) and offer front-row seats at the gala dinner and a group photo with Meghan.
But an email leak about Meghan’s attendance had left the duchess “unable to sleep,” according to reports.
A source told Australian magazine New Idea: “She was horrified when word got out, ahead of the official announcement, that she would be appearing at a women’s retreat in Sydney.
“She likes to be in control, and the chaotic announcement about her arrival was anything but polished.”
The source added: “While a leak about the trip isn’t the end of the world, Meghan’s losing sleep at what else could come out about her and Harry’s private dealings.”
Meghan’s appearance was announced by Gemma O’Neill, host of the Her Best Life podcast, which is organising the event.

It is understood Harry and Meghan’s children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, will not be going with them on the trip.
A spokesman for the couple said: “Prince Harry and Meghan, Duke and Duchess of Sussex, will visit Australia to take part in a number of private, business and philanthropic engagements.
“Further details will be shared in due course.”
