Massive street brawl involving 50 people erupts in Magaluf – Police forced to step in | World | News

A massive brawl involving around 50 people broke out in Magalluf, Spain, in the early hours of Sunday morning. According to people in the area, the fight would have started between some Spanish and Moroccan and Algerian nationals.

However, it is believed people from other nationalities quickly joined the brawl until it became between about 50 people.

Security guards from clubs in the area tried to stop the fighting in vain.

The Guardia Civil and Calvia police eventually arrived and stopped the brawl after it had been going on for 10 minutes.

A number of arrests were made and several people were injured.

The reason behind the original fight which started the massive brawl is still unclear.
