‘I’ve been travelling the world for 3 years – these are the 3 best countries’ | World | News

A British travel YouTuber who has spent the last three years travelling the world has named the three countries he believes everyone should visit. Harry Jaggard, who has over two million subscribers on YouTube, shared his top picks in a recent video.

At number three on his list is Japan, a country he describes as offering “the biggest culture shock in a good way ». He said: « The food, the sites, the people – everything is so unique. The way they have their attention to detail, the food is just unbelievable, and I don’t think I’ve heard anyone say they haven’t had a good time in Japan.” Japan is a country known for its temples, neon-lit cities, and world-class cuisine. It is also famous for its politeness and precision, with everything from transport to customer service running seamlessly.

Tokyo, Kyoto, and Osaka are among the most visited cities, but Japan’s countryside, including the Japanese Alps and cherry blossom-filled parks, also draw millions of tourists each year.

Jaggard’s second pick is Lebanon, a country he believes is very underrated.

“Not a very visited country, but it’s got incredible food, the nightlife is insane, and the people are so hospitable,” he said.

He added: “I do think it’s got incredible potential for the future.

Even though Lebanon has its challenges, it’s a country with a rich history, beautiful Mediterranean coastline, and lively social scene.

Beirut, the capital, is often called the « Paris of the Middle East » for its architecture, arts, and café culture.

Outside the city, Lebanon has historical sites like the ancient ruins of Baalbek and the famous Jeita Grotto caves.

Finally, Jaggard’s top recommendation is Vietnam, which he calls “the Asia starter pack”.

“It’s so fun. The nature there is some of the best in the world,” he said. “

The rice fields in the north of Vietnam, just going on a road trip. The number one thing I’d say is just take a road trip from the north all the way to the south, and you’ll have an abundance of experiences.”

Vietnam has become one of Southeast Asia’s most popular destinations and it offers stunning landscapes, from the terraced rice fields of Sapa to the limestone islands of Ha Long Bay.

The country is also known for its street food, as well as big cities like Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, and motorbike culture, with many travellers opting to explore the country on two wheels.
