As the Middle East continues to burn President Donald Trump has made a chilling threat to ‘watch what happens’ today (Friday, March 13).
The powerful message comes as the leader reiterates that the US has control and is ‘winning’ the war.
Trump’s latest post shared on his own social media platform claims that the US « have unparalleled firepower, unlimited ammunition, and plenty of time ».
The message comes after a US refueling plane, part of the operation against Iran, went down in western Iraq. U.S. Central Command said rescue efforts were underway and a second plane was involved. It also said the crash was not tied to hostile fire or friendly fire.
The US Treasury have also temporarily lifted sanctions on Russian oil already at sea in a bid to ease crude prices surging amid the Iran war. The exemptions, issued on Thursday evening, are set to remain in place until April 11.
