Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi told Al Jazeera news agency that his country had received messages from the United States and have replied to these messages where it is necessary.
« No negotiation has taken place and the reports about that is not accurate, » Mr Araghchi said.
US President Donald Trump has claimed negotitations between the countries are underway.
« The reality is that we have never had a good experience from negotiations with the US… Now this year we negotiated with the US and the result was an attack by them, » Mr Araghchi said.
« We do not have any faith that negotiations with the US will yield any results. The trust level is at zero. »
