Police arrested three men on suspicion of sexually assaulting two schoolgirls at a busy shopping centre. West Yorkshire Police responded to reports of the males acting suspiciously at Seacroft Green shopping centre, in Seacroft Avenue, Leeds, at around 8.45pm on Tuesday, December 30.
Officers cordoned off an area after two men, aged 38 and 44, were arrested on suspicion of sexual assault offences against the girls. A third man, aged 20, was arrested on New Year’s Eve on suspicion of sexual assault. All three remain in custody.
Express.co.uk have contacted West Yorkshire Police for an update and patrols were increased in the area, which is around four miles north-east of Leeds city centre.
In a statement the force said: « Enquiries remain ongoing by Leeds District Safeguarding officers to support the victims and determine the full circumstances of what occurred. Reassurance patrols by uniformed officers have also been ongoing in the area. »

Seacroft Green shopping centre lies within the Seacroft area of Leeds, which is maninly covered by a large council estate built in the 1950s and 60s.
