Fears Andrew Mountbatten Windsor ‘will never move in to Marsh Farm’ | Royal | News

Concerns have been raised about Andrew Mountbatten Windsor’s move to the Sandringham Estate, highlighting how he might « get comfortable » in a different residence on the King’s estate before moving into his new home. Andrew’s late-night exit from Royal Lodge came amid the release of more damning files about the late convicted paedophile, Jeffrey Epstein.

But a source said there was « worry » about never moving him on from the temporary home.

As reported in the Sun, they said: « There is also a worry that once he gets comfortable at Wood Farm while Marsh Farm is being finished, they will never get him out again. »

Marsh Farm is a modest red-brick farmhouse located on the Sandringham Estate in the small village of Wolferton, Norfolk.

Situated a short distance from Sandringham House, the King’s private residence, Marsh Farm sits on privately owned land separate from the Crown Estate Property.

For many years, Marsh Farm stood vacant, previously used for agricultural purposes as a tenant farm. It is now being repurposed into a permanent residence.

Key renovations include perimeter fencing, CCTV systems, broadband updates and interior updates. However, ongoing renovations have delayed the move, and in the interim, Andrew is staying at Wood Farm.

While currently stripped from his titles, styles and honours, calls for Andrew to testify in the US over Epstein-related allegations continue to intensify. Andrew has denied all allegations made against him in relation to Epstein.

Thames Valley Police has said it is assessing claims that Andrew shared confidential documents with the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, while the former duke served as UK trade envoy.

The palace also said King Charles had « profound concern » over claims about his brother. A palace spokesperson said: « The King has made clear, in words and through unprecedented actions, his profound concern at allegations which continue to come to light in respect of Mr Mountbatten-Windsor’s conduct.

« While the specific claims in question are for Mr Mountbatten-Windsor to address, if we are approached by Thames Valley Police we stand ready to support them as you would expect.

« As was previously stated, Their Majesties’ thoughts and sympathies have been, and remain with, the victims of any and all forms of abuse. »
