Kimi Antonelli clamed an impressive victory in Shanghai after finishing qualifying on pole position, ahead of championship favourite and Mercedes teammate George Russell. Lewis Hamilton got his first podium after finshing third in the second race of the season.
Attention will now turn towards the Japanese Grand Prix, which will take place on March 29 at the Suzuka Circuit.
Russell still leads the World Driver’s Championship standings by four points ahead of Antonelli thanks to his victory in Australia in the first race of the year.
