England and Nike have revealed the new home and away kits ahead of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. On Friday (March 20), The FA shared the first images of the new strips to be donned this summer, now exclusively available for purchase at two retailers, including the Official England Store.

Stars such as Harry Kane, Jude Bellingham and Jordan Pickford featured in England’s official launch video which showcased a traditional white home kit and red away kit, each adorned with symbolic depictions of lions and flags woven into the fabric. The England 2026 Home Shirt boasts navy details on the shoulders, cuffs and collar, complemented by a red strip on the sides.

The Nike swoosh is positioned on the right chest opposite England’s crest on the left, beneath a gold star commemorating their 1966 World Cup victory. The England 2026 Away Shirt reverts to the classic red with white accents on the shoulders, paired with navy cuffs, collar and sides, and a central badge.

The England 2026 Goalkeeper Shirt features a striking blue lion design and star graphic, along with a central crest and Nike swoosh. Each shirt also carries the phrase ‘happy and glorious’ inside the collar as a tribute to the national anthem, God Save the King.

Each edition comes in two versions, Stadium and Match – also known as Replica and Authentic. The Stadium (Replica) shirts are designed for comfort with a more relaxed fit, featuring Moisture-wicking Dri-FIT technology and embroidered team and sponsor logos.

The Match (Authentic) shirts are worn by the players on the pitch and feature highly breathable Nike Aero-FIT technology, a tighter fit and heat-pressed logos and crests. Prices for the men’s and women’s kits start at £89.99, with kid’s kits from £69.99.

Each kit is exclusively available at the Official England Store and Nike within the first 48 hours from launch. After this, they will go on wider sale at retailers including Fanatics and JD Sports.

It comes as Thomas Tuchel has named his squad for the upcoming international break, where England will host Uruguay (March 27) and Japan (March 31) at Wembley Stadium. England fans can still book VIP and hospitality tickets for the friendlies from £39 at Seat Unique.

Among the extensive 35-man squad are Three Lions regulars including Harry Kane, Declan Rice, Bukayo Saka and Jordan Pickford. Man United’s Harry Maguire and Kobbie Mainoo have secured their first call-up under the new manager, with Leeds’ Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Tottenham’s Dominic Solanke also making a comeback.

Reserve Brighton goalkeeper Jason Steele and Everton midfielder James Garner have received their first senior call-up to the England camp.

There are also some notable names absent from the list, with Trent Alexander-Arnold, Ollie Watkins and Luke Shaw not selected for the two fixtures. As is often the case, supporters are split over the new England kits, with many expressing their initial thoughts on social media. Responding to England’s announcement video on X, one stated: « Best home kit I’ve seen for some time. »

A fan of the away kit remarked: « That red kit is a thing of beauty. »

However, not everyone is convinced, as this supporter queried: « Who signed off on the idea of having white home shorts? »

Regarding the goalkeeper’s kit, this commenter noted: « That goalkeeper kit looks amazing. »
