DVLA alert with November 5 deadline issued for anyone called Amy

Motorists are being alerted to an important date that’s fast-approaching. On social media, the DVLA Personalised Registration Sales Team shared a specific three-letter name. In a post about registration plates, the team wrote on X: « A great registration for anyone called Amy. » The number plate in question reads ‘AA26 AMY’ and is priced at £899.

The post reminded potential buyers that time is limited: « It’s available to buy at 10am on November 5 » and it could sell fast due to high interest. However, this isn’t the only option available, as a “new series” of 26 plates are also being released.

The experts encourage those interested to visit its website, where buyers can pick their preferred plate style, letters and numbers. Price filters can be set from £250 up to £5,000, which covers VAT and an £80 assignment fee. For anyone wanting the latest news, auctions and any new releases from DVLA Personalised Registrations, you can enter your email address and select ‘Personalised Registrations’ on their email updates page. Simply visit the Driver & Vehicle Licensing Agency page here and follow the instructions.
