Audiences watching Trump’s cabinet meeting today observed that something appeared unusual about the president.
During this morning’s White House cabinet gathering, attentive observers noticed two substantial plasters covering the president’s hand. The hand also seemed to have foundation applied to it, in what looked like an effort to hide something.
This isn’t the first time the president has been caught attempting to disguise the back of his hand, following repeated press enquiries about a persistent mark in that area.
The 79 year old president’s condition has fuelled widespread speculation about his wellbeing recently. Earlier this week, Karoline Leavitt revealed that Trump had received a « preventative » MRI to comprehensively assess the president’s health.
Health fears addressed
She maintained that notwithstanding the concerns, the president’s condition remains « excellent. »
During today’s gathering, Trump spoke about his health and the MRI, though made no mention of the plasters on his hand. He criticised journalists for continually theorising about his wellbeing and maintained he is in perfect health.
« I’ll let you know when something’s wrong, » Trump stated. « There will be some day. »
Trump went on to assert that he had received « all A’s » in his medical examination and had even offered to undergo a cognitive assessment, which he claimed no other president in history had done.
On X, users remained unconvinced by his extended assertions about being in pristine health.
@CryptoShooter1 posted, « I’m no doctor, but something is clearly very wrong with Trump. Look at Trump’s right hand. Usually it’s covered in makeup, but here it is uncovered. »
Trump’s recent health concerns
Trump has consistently batted away speculation regarding his hand, which frequently displays what appears to be an unexplained mark.
During Tuesday’s gathering, he redirected attention towards Biden and his fitness for office, pointing out that despite conducting numerous press briefings daily, he faces constant comparisons with Biden, who he claimed went eight months without holding a single press conference during his presidency.
Additional X users suggested Trump seemed to be nodding off at certain moments throughout the protracted meeting. Rhode Island Representative Seth Magaziner commented, « Somebody put Grandpa back to bed. »
