Co-op has announced a significant change affecting its 2,500 convenience stores across the UK, unveiling a month-long free delivery initiative designed to help shoppers manage costs after the festive period.
The convenience retailer is kicking off 2026 by waiving its usual £1.99 delivery fee for online grocery orders throughout January. Any customer spending more than £25 on the Co-op online shop will qualify for free delivery, with the offer available across all stores nationwide.
The free delivery deal can be used multiple times during the month, allowing customers to place several orders without paying delivery charges. To redeem the offer, shoppers simply need to enter the code FD2026 at checkout on coop.shop.
Alongside the delivery change, Co-op is introducing a range of money-saving deals both online and in-store.
Members can continue to benefit from Aldi’s Price Match initiative on hundreds of everyday essentials, aimed at helping households reduce their grocery bills during January.
Among the highlights of Co-op’s January offers is a new Served – A Taste of Asia dine-in deal, available from January 3 to January 27.
Members can choose one main and two sides from the pan-Asian menu for £8, saving up to £4.25, while non-members can access the deal for £9.
Frozen food shoppers can also take advantage of the Freezer Favourites promotion, running over the same dates. Customers can mix and match any three frozen products from a range of more than 60 items for £6, with savings of up to £5.85 for members.
Other offers include a Bangers and Mash deal, available until January 20, where shoppers can buy Co-op’s British Butcher’s Choice sausages and mashed potato for £2.
Co-op is also introducing its new Good Fuel range, aimed at customers seeking healthier options in the New Year, with members able to buy any two items for £5.50 from January 7.
In addition, all customers can pick up a single-serve Irresistible pizza at half price until January 20, saving £1.95.
