Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor will use second home as eviction date looms | Royal | News

It has been claimed that the former prince will move into this temporary home as early as the end of this month, and before his 66th birthday on February 19.

Speaking of the temporary property, a source told the Sun: « The snow or rain hasn’t delayed the work on Marsh Farm, but it still needs a lot of attention to make it habitable. But one thing for sure is that it is a lot, lot smaller and less luxurious than Royal Lodge. »

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor was stripped of his title, honours and styles at the end of last year by King Charles. It came amid the worsening sex allegations and relations with his friendship with the late US convicted paedophile, Jeffrey Epstein.

It followed a posthumous memoir that was published by the late Virginia Guiffre. Andrew has denied all accusations made against him.

Renovation work on Andrew’s property will include specialists fitting security systems such as CCTV for protection. The Sun reported that workers have been seen installing a 6-foot fence at the front perimeter of the home with the assistance of a JCB.

The property has been empty for several years, and it also needs improved electrics and sewerage systems, it is understood.

A friend of the couple told the Sun: « He’s finally decided he needs to get on with his life and so is moving out sooner than thought and starting afresh by the end of the month, or at least before his birthday in February.

« He and Sarah will go their own separate ways for the first time in almost 20 years. »

Sarah Ferguson was stripped of her Duchess of York title and royal status in late 2025 after her ex-husband was stripped of his royal titles and issued with his eviction notice for Royal Lodge.
