The Fortnite Item Shop has welcomed some fantastic crossovers in recent weeks. Fans have been treated to everything from Daffy Duck and Hercules skins, to Phineas and Ferb characters and Super Meat Boy Sidekicks. And the hits just keep on coming this weekend, as Epic Games prepares for its next major crossover, this time featuring Toy Story characters Buzz Lightyear and Emperor Zhurg.
The brand new Fortnite x Toy Story crossover skins have an April 10 release date for fans living in the US, and an April 11 release date for European players.
The headline new addition is fan-favourite Toy Story character Buzz Lightyear, who seems like the perfect fit for a dynamic game like Fortnite.
For players who enjoy a good villain, Buzz Lightyear’s nemesis Emperor Zurg will also be available to purchase from the Item Shop.
The Item Shop refresh takes place at 5pm PT / 8pm ET for US customers, and 1am BST (April 11) for UK players. That’s 2am CET if you live in Europe.
In addition to Buzz Lightyear and Emperor Zurg, fans will also be able to pick up an Alien Sidekick character, complete with Chosen One emote.
The Toy Story Item Shop bundle also includes two Backblings, two Harvesting Tools, emotes and a Glider.
Finally, the Pizza Planet Delivery Truck will be available to purchase in the Toy Story tab of the Item Shop.

The new Toy Story items make their debut just hours after the release of the brand new Ranked Arenas Mode in Fortnite.
The small-scale battle mode sees players compete in 1v1 or 2v2 fights to the death. Success revolves around racking up wins as quickly as possible.
Epic explains more: « Compete in a lobby of 16 players (Solo) or 8 teams (Duos). You’ll fight a series of 1v1 or 2v2 rounds back-to-back. After each round, you’re immediately queued into the next — so, the key is to win fast.
« The quicker you finish fights, the more rounds you’ll play and the more chances you’ll have to score points. The first player to win 20 fights in Solo play, or the first team to win 15 in Duos, is the victor. »
