US President Donald Trump has launched a furious outburst against some of his closest allies over the fierce opposition to his war with Iran. He has faced strong opposition over the launch of Operation Epic Fury from the likes of Tucker Carlson, Candace Owens, Megyn Kelly and Alex Jones.
In a furious post on Truth Social, Mr Trump refers to his former allies as « low IQ…stupid people’ and ‘NUTS JOBS, TROUBLEMAKERS. »
In a near 500-word rant posted on Thursday, April 9, he said: « I know why Tucker Carlson, Megyn Kelly, Candace Owens, and Alex Jones have all been fighting me for years, especially by the fact that they think it is wonderful for Iran, the Number One State Sponsor of Terror, to have a Nuclear Weapon — Because they have one thing in common, Low IQs. »
Mr Trump continued: « They’re stupid people, they know it, their families know it, and everyone else knows it, too! »

He added: « They’re NUT JOBS, TROUBLEMAKERS, and will say anything necessary for some “free” and cheap publicity. Now they think they get some “clicks” because they have Third Rate Podcasts, but nobody’s talking about them, and their views are the opposite of MAGA — Or I wouldn’t have won the Presidential Election in a LANDSLIDE. »
The US leader continued to personally attack his former supporters.
Of former long-time ally and conservative commentator Candace Owens, Mr Trump focused on her comments of the First Lady of France.
Ms Owens has accused Brigitte Macron of being born male. French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife responded by filing a defamation lawsuit against Ms Owens in July 2025 after she promoted the theory online.
The US president called Ms Owens « crazy » and added that he hopes Mrs Macron « will… win lots of money in the ongoing lawsuit. »
« Actually, to me, the First Lady of France is a far more beautiful woman than Candace, in fact, it’s not even close! » he said.

Mr Trump also turned on along-time former ally and commentator Tucker Carlson, attacking his education level and career path.
« Tucker Carlson, who couldn’t even finish College, he was a broken man when he got fired from Fox, and he’s never been the same — Perhaps he should see a good psychiatrist! » Mr Trump said of the successful conservative political activist and podcast host.
Mr Trump ended his post by talking about his country’s perceived status.
He said: « MAGA is about MAKING AMERICA GREAT AGAIN, and these people have no idea how to do that, BUT I DO, because THE UNITED STATES IS NOW THE “HOTTEST” COUNTRY ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD! President DONALD J. TRUMP »
