Iran has warned the US and its allies the regime will “deprive the US and its allies of the region’s oil and gas for years” should Donald Trump give the order to attack power plants and bridges in the country. On Monday President Trump threatened to unleash “complete demolition” on Iranian infrastructure, asserting that the US could neutralise Iran “in one night” if no agreement is reached.
« The entire country can be taken out in one night – and that night might be tomorrow night, » he said. Showing no sign of backing down Iran’s Paramilitary Revolutionary Guard today warned they will cut off the US and its allies from the region’s oil and gas supplies for years should President Trump go through with his threats. Tehran also issued a new warning to the Gulf Arab states, declaring it will no longer hold back in its actions toward them.
“We have exercised great restraint and had considerations in choosing retaliatory targets, but from now on all these considerations have been removed,” the warning read.
This followed a series of expletive‑filled posts from US President Donald Trump on Sunday who issued Iran a fresh ultimatum that is due to expire today.
Yesterday. Trump said that « reasonable » leaders in Iran were negotiating « in good faith » – but that a ceasefire proposal put forward by mediators was « not good enough.
Iran rejected a 45-day ceasefire proposal yesterday, the state-run Iranian news agency Irna, reported that Tehran has sent a 10-point proposal to the US through Pakistan which includes a rejection to a proposed ceasefire, saying there needs to be a permanent end to the war.
Meanwhile, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) is warning people in Iran not to take the train today. In a post on the military’s Farsi social media account the IDF informs Iranians « for the sake of your security » to « refrain from using and travelling by train » throughout the country « until 21:00 Iran time ».
It added that « presence on trains and near railway lines endangers your life ».
