Fergie makes ‘interesting’ move as bombshell memoir rumours swirl | Royal | News

Fergie, as she is otherwise known, has not been seen in public since last year, while her next moves, a possible bombshell memoir or tell-all TV interview, have been at the centre of discussions among royal watchers. Now a royal expert has given insight into what the former Duchess’s team has said on the possibility of a bombshell new book, which could bring further shame to the royals.

Royal correspondent Richard Palmer told the Mirror that Fergie’s “office has refused to discuss or be drawn on whether she’ll write a memoir, which I find interesting.”

He added: “It would have to be fairly powerful stuff to persuade publishers to part with a big wad of money, I think.”

Fergie has maintained a very low profile after emails surfaced showing her referring to Epstein as her “supreme friend,” despite her team claiming that she sent them after the US financier threatened to sue her for defamation.

Regarding a possible TV interview, a source previously told The Sun: “Sarah and her team have had offers from all over the world for a sit-down. So she’s thinking things over very carefully.

“She and her team know a televised interview would be make or break for her in terms of salvaging her reputation.

“It would also give her the chance to spell out the fact she knew nothing about what Epstein and his associates were doing in terms of abusing girls.”

They said: “Executives are acutely aware that a deal of this magnitude would not happen quietly—it would invite intense scrutiny, and that reality has made many far more hesitant to move forward.”
