Iran LIVE: UAE and Kuwait under new attacks as Donald Trump issues fresh warning | World | News

Gulf countries continue to be the targets of drone and missile strikes, more than a month into the war in Iran. On Friday morning, the National Emergency Crisis authority in the UAE issued a warning to locals over a new missile threat. It read: « Air defense systems are currently responding to a missile threat. Please remain in a safe location and follow official channels for warnings and updates. » The warning also urged not to « approach, touch or photograph » debris or objects that have fallen as a result of the air defence interception work. The country’s Ministry of Defence also informed locals that the « sounds heard » are the result of « ongoing engaging operations of missiles ».

This comes as the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation reported multiple fires at the Mina al-Ahmadi refinery following a reported drone attack. Hours prior this attacks, which Iran hasn’t yet claimed, US President Donald Trump issued another threat to Tehran, saying the new regime « knows what has to be done ». In a Truth Social message, the American leader warned civilian infrastructure will be hit next if a ceasefire deal is not agreed soon, saying: « Our Military, the greatest and most powerful (by far!) anywhere in the World, hasn’t even started destroying what’s left in Iran. Bridges next, then Electric Power Plants! »
