CNN issues bombshell Donald Trump alert – it’s a ‘disaster’ for the President | TV & Radio | Showbiz & TV

CNN reporter Harry Eten delivered a crushing blow to President Donald Trump on today’s programme, revealing the US leader’s ‘record-breaking’ disapproval ratings live on air following the results of a poll for the channel. The chief data analyst told viewers: “This is no April Fool’s joke, this is a disaster. All these numbers are a disaster for President Trump. Let’s talk about inflation, which is the name of the game…”

On the screen behind him were images of Trump, his predecessor Joe Biden and former President Jimmy Carter, with the latter having disapproval ratings of 68 per cent and 66 per cent respectively. However, Eten revealed that Trump’s rating was worse, at a staggering 72 per cent. Eten shared: “Donald Trump is even worse than they are – so you see it here. And the one phase is, ‘Oh my goodness gracious, what a disaster.’”

The CNN poll, released earlier today, found that Trump’s approval rating on the economy is 8 percentage points lower than it was in a January poll.

The latest results also found more than three-quarters of respondents feel economic conditions in the USA are poor, while 65 per cent said the President’s policies have worsened economic conditions.

In addition, almost three in 10 Republicans said Trump’s policies have “worsened economic conditions, up from the 13 per cent who said so in January”.

The poll suggests the price of petrol following the attack on Iran have added to the USA’s financial frustrations as it now averages at more than $4 per gallon across the nation.

Taking to the comments section as the report was delivered, one CNN viewer shared: “I am loving the fact that Trump is actually breaking all of the records for polling as the worst president – since polling began – in all of the categories…”

Another penned: “Donald is gonna cling to the “100% of MAGA” support him poll.” Meanwhile, a third said: “It’s a disaster for the US.” A fourth wrote: “But not disastrous enough that would make him quit though.”

However, another said: “Where’s the problem.” Someone else added: “Fake news!”
