For those chasing warmer climes, flights from Bristol Airport to Palma, Alicante, Malaga, Faro and Tenerife are anticipated to be the most popular over Easter, alongside Amsterdam due to its global connections.

Ahead of the busy travel period, Bristol Airport has issued a warning to travellers about transporting Easter chocolates.

A spokesperson for the airport stated: « Those travelling with Easter eggs are advised to keep any chocolate treats in cabin baggage and make sure they are easily accessible as they may need to be opened for a quick check. »
