US President Trump has forcefully dismissed Benjamin Netanyahu’s prompt for the US to provoke a street revolution to combat the Iranian regime.

He told the Israeli Prime Minister in a call last week: « Why the hell should we tell people to take to the streets when they’ll just get mowed down. »

The discussion followed the killing of Iran’s security chief Ali Larijani in an Israeli strike last Tuesday.

According to reports, Trump was told by Netanyahu that there was a window for a revolution as the regime is in diasarray.

However, Trump expressed concerns of a massacre, after thousands of Iranians were killed by paramilitary forces in anti-regime protests prior to the war.

The pair agreed to wait and see if the Iranians would come out during the annual festival of fire without encouragement, a source said.

Netanyahu stated on television: « Our aircraft are striking terrorist operatives. This is meant to allow the brave Iranian people to celebrate the festival of fire. So go out and celebrate, we are watching from above. »

The differing perspectives illustrated a gap forming between the two leaders, with Washington distancing itself from Jerusalem on regime change.

As Trump continues to speak of a peace deal, it is reported that Netanyahu has secretly pushed for a 48-hour blitz on Iran’s top targets.

Netanyahu held an underground meeting in a bunker beneath Tel Aviv on Tuesday after hearing Trump’s 15-point peace plan where himself and top military advisers were concerned the US plan did not go far enough to curb Tehran’s military capabilities.

According to Isaraeli officials present at Netanyahu’s meeting, the atmosphere was ‘tense’, reports the Mail.

Iran made it clear on Wednesday that it rejects Trump’s proposal, but the US President is still exclaiming that a deal and ceasefire could come next week.

Netanyahu’s inner circle is said to want to reach three key war goals: eliminating Iran’s ballistic-missile stockpile, ensuring Tehran cannot develop a nuclear warhead, and fostering an environment within Iran for civilians to overthrow the Islamic regime.

« If you do not obtain the three objectives, you will not be able to end the war, » said Boaz Bismuth, a member of Netanyahu’s party.

The White House has listed four official objectives. Destroy Iran’s missiles, navy, armed proxies, and nuclear capabilities.

These objectives do not touch on regime change.

Last night, Pentagon chiefs ordered 2,000 trops from the 82nd Airborne Division to the Middle East to join 4,500 Marines already en route.

A Trump aide told Axios: « Trump has a hand open for a deal, and the other is a fist, waiting to punch you in the f***ing face. »

The plan outline by the US President, modeled on his Gaza deal, demands Iran to dismantle all nuclear and long-range missile capabilities, open the Strait of Hormuz, and abandon proxy terror groups.

This was outright rejected by Iran, as declared on Iranian state TV on Wednesday, as Tehran demand the closure of all US bases in the Gulf, reparations and an end to Israeli strikes in Lebanon.

Tehran also wants to rbing the Strait under its control, allowing it to charge a transit fee to passing vessels.

These demands were described by a Trump official as ‘ridiculous’ and ‘unrealistic’, warning a deal is now harder to reach than at the beginning of the war as there is potential for ground invasion.

US and Iran have not communicated directly but rather through Middle Eastern intermediaries from Egypt, Turkey and Pakistan.
