English Heritage memberships are 25% cheaper with code | UK | Travel

As the Easter holidays edge closer—and with that long stretch of summer not far behind—you might already be wondering how to keep the kids (and the grandkids) entertained without watching prices stack up. Days out can add up quickly, but we’ve spotted a discount that can help ease the cost.

Right now, English Heritage has launched a 25% off discount on 12-month memberships, bringing prices down to £61.50 for adults and £51.75 for seniors. The offer opens the door to hundreds of days out, because this isn’t just one or two places: it’s access to more than 400+ historic sites across the UK. So whether it’s a spontaneous solo afternoon adventure or a carefully planned family outing, there’s always to explore.

Using the discount is simple. Just enter the code EASTER26 at checkout. The only catch is that this is a limited-time offer, ending on April 8, so it’s one to sort sooner rather than later if you want to lock in the savings.

Once you have an English Heritage membership, the options stretch right across the country. Think wandering around Stonehenge, exploring the towering grounds of Dover Castle, soaking up the seaside charm of Osborne, or tracing history along Hadrian’s Wall. There are quieter gems too, like Ranger’s House (recognisable to Netflix fans as the Bridgerton residence), tucked away and waiting to be discovered.

Membership isn’t just about entry, either. You’ll also get unlimited visits throughout the year, a handbook packed with details on every site, three magazines sent to you throughout the year, free parking at English Heritage car parks, and even access to exclusive high street discounts.

And for families, it becomes even more appealing. Each adult membership allows up to six children to go free, and with joint memberships, that doubles to 12. Suddenly, those big family days out feel a lot more within reach. In fact, it works out at less than £1.20 per week for a single-parent family, and under £2.10 per week for a two-parent family.

The offer applies to annual Memberships bought by annual direct debit from 25 March to 8 April inclusive. And remember to use the code.

Lindsey Rennard, head of membership and supporter Growth for English Heritage, said: “Members are vital to the work we do as charity, enabling us to care for these wonderful historic places and keep them open, as well as preserving them for future generations.

« We hope that people will take advantage of this great value offer to discover more of the fascinating places and stories on their doorstep this year. All of our sites offer a great family day out, and there are some lovely family-friendly events taking place over Easter, including building historic places and figures with LEGO bricks and Easter trails around the grounds.”
