GB News host feels ‘sorry’ for Prince Harry amid Meghan Markle bombshe | TV & Radio | Showbiz & TV

GB News presenter Ben Leo admitted his heart goes out to Prince Harry following the recent claims made against the Sussexes, who are estranged from the Royal Family. The Late Night Show presenter spoke with commentator Kinsey Schofield about royal biographer, Tom Bower, and his latest book which were published in The Times.

According to Bower, who has written various biographies about the royals, Queen Camilla told a friend: « Meghan’s brainwashed ‌Harry. » The author also wrote that the Duke of Sussex’s elder brother, Prince William, and his wife Kate were allegedly alarmed by Meghan’s impact on him.

« Both evidently saw Meghan as a threat rather than an ally, » Bower wrote in Betrayal: Power, Deceit and the Fight for the Future of the Royal Family, which will be released later this month.

Harry’s spokesperson dismissed the claims, calling it a « deranged conspiracy ».

Addressing the bombshell book, Kinsey remarked: « We all loved Meghan at the beginning and we were so enchanted by her and what she could potentially bring to the British Royal Family.

« When it comes to these new revelations, are they really new revelations? For years, we heard King Charles said Harry was ‘whipped’. »

Kinsey alleged: « What we have seen so far is that this has been a grift that has exhausted this couple and what can they do next to continue to rebrand themselves and what can they do to continue to generate income. »

Ben suggested he does feel sorry for the Duke of Sussex.

« What I find fascinating about Harry, particularly, » he explained, « I feel sorry for the guy and I do think he deserves more respect. »

He continued: « He served in the Armed Forces. He’s had military tours. He was a helicopter pilot. I think we forget that sometimes. And he’s done some really great stuff with Invictus. »

Ben then suggested that both Harry and Prince William dealt with the death of their mother, Princess Diana, very differently.

He claimed that while William comes across as « respectable » he still sees the heartbroken small boy in Harry.

Ben added: « I don’t blame [Harry] for how he has ended up. »
