Crufts is underway live from Birmingham’s National Exhibition Centre, with the Best in Show final being held this evening. The world famous dog show extravaganza concludes today with 18,600 talented pooches competing at Crufts for a chance to win the most celebrated title in the world of dogs.
The categories are the Working, Pastoral, Terrier, Hound, Toy, Utility and Gundog groups. In the final round, judges assess the seven group winners on their movement, structure, temperament and how well they represent their breed standard before selecting the Best in Show winner for 2026. A whippet called Miuccia, from Venice in Italy, was crowned Best in Show last year, beating more than 18,000 dogs from around the world to claim the top award.
