The Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has promised to stop attacking the UAE and Dubai – on one crucial condition.
In a video address broadcast on Iranian state media on Saturday, Mr Pezeshkian said: “The enemies must take their wish for the surrender of the Iranian people to their graves. I apologise… to the neighbouring countries that were attacked by Iran”, he added.
“The interim leadership council agreed yesterday that no more attacks will be made on neighbouring countries and no missiles will be fired unless an attack on Iran originates from those countries. » He added:
« Those considering exploiting this moment to attack Iran must not become puppets of imperialism, » insisting that supporting Israel or the US is « not a path to honour and freedom. »
