The couple made a virtual appearance at the 57th Annual NAACP Image Awards to present the NAACP-Archewell Digital Civil Rights Award on behalf of their foundation, Archewell Philanthropies. The short clip was reportedly not filmed at their mansion, despite the filming taking place in their hometown.
Meghan, 44, has previously revealed the reason behind their decision to keep cameras out of their home.
During an interview with PEOPLE last year, Meghan shared that the couple like to separate their home life and work life – especially with two young children at home.
The couple are proud parents of Prince Archie, six, and four-year-old Princess Lilibet, who the former working royals sweetly refer to as Lili.
Meghan told the publication: « I wanted to protect that safe haven. We’re a close-knit family, and I love those moments – putting Lili down for a nap, having lunch together, having sacred time together at the end of the day.
« Our kitchen is where mama just cooks for the family, and with a crew of 80-plus people, that’s a lot of people to have in your house! »

Meghan and Harry are known to be extremely protective of their children, much like Prince William and Princess Catherine.
The couple moved into Forest Lodge in Windsor with their three children back in November, with no pictures having been released of the interior.
The decision to this is thought to be for the safety and privacy of Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.
