Sex Pistols have been fighting the system for decades at this point, and they’re nowhere near stopping. The iconic British rockers will be going on tour this summer, and once again in December, as part of their Anarchy in the UK Tour 2026. Rejoining them after teaming up in 2024 is Frank Carter, formerly of Gallows.
These upcoming gigs will take on all forms, in celebration of « 50 Years of Punk ». Sex Pistols (which is made up of Paul Cook, Steve Jones and Glen Matlock, as well as Carter) have a string of outdoor shows lined up for this summer, including stops at Cardiff Castle, Halifax’s Piece Hall and Manchester’s Castlefield Bowl. After that, they’ll start performing at some incredible venues around the country, including London’s Brixton Academy, Glasgow’s O2 Academy and Dublin’s 3Arena. And tickets for these exciting shows are already out now.
Speaking about their first year on the road, Paul Cook said: « It was kind of like a commando raid. I don’t even think a lot of places knew we were playing there. We just turned up and set up. It was all a learning curve for us – getting out there and playing live – we were learning on the job.
« With Anarchy, I think we tapped into a feeling of unrest around the country at the time. The message was pretty simple – just have a go and get out there and do whatever you want to do. It was a new world. »
